Question: Is there something that I could use in my iguana's bath to moisten his skin, it seems very dry he is about 4 mths old. Should his skin just be left alone.

ANSWER: The proper temperature is important in housing iguanas, but so is the proper humidity. Spray the iguana with warm water periodically and allow it to soak in fresh warm water (only--no additives) to rehydrate its skin. Check your local Petco stores for books on proper care of iguanas for specifics on temperature and humidity requirements . Also, make sure it has exposure to the proper amount of direct sunlight (if not possible then make sure your light source provides the proper UV spectrum for your iguana. Good luck!
