ANSWER: Yes, my first thought is "What is the diagnosis???" Have you and your vet gotten to the bottom of what is causing this problem? (You didn't say what other testing has been performed?) The clinical signs could be anything from internal bleeding, clotting problems, toxin ingestion, a severe heart condition, cancer, parasitic infestation, or even an immune-mediated problem, among many other possibilities. For most of these; there are treatments to be done once a diagnosis is reached. Not all cases are easy to diagnose and require some amount of testing to reach a diagnosis, please be patient with your vet. I'd get her back in today for possible xrays, ultrasounds, urinalysis, more blood tests, etc.. If you are not satisfied with the results that you are getting with your current vet, you can ask your vet to work with an internal medicine specialist or consult another veterinarian. Good luck!
