ANSWER: What you can do for her dry, flaky skin is get her in to the vet and have her examined! There are parasites that can look similar to this, there could also be an underlying primary skin problem (glandular, etc.), nutritional deficiencies, allergies, infections (bacterial or fungal--some go to humans as do some parasites). Please don't take any chances-get the diagnosis. Don't treat with anything prior to the visit to the vet--as this may alter the original condition of skin and make the problem harder to diagnose.
